I have offered linux based web hosting resources for a long time. I'm think about offering windows based hosting as well. Anyone have some links with good pertinent information on this?

Thanks!

Hello,

You question is not very clear. What type of Windows hosting you would like to offer - shared, reseller, VPS, dedicated? Also what is your location?

Taking into consideration your needs, I can put forward a suggestion to check M6 as windows hosting option.. have transferred my files to them and they were helpful. I can say that your sites and projects will in good hands.

Suggest you to go for windows reseller accounts and then could plan to offer your own windows based web hosting services. It is not so easy to setup windows based env if you plan to set it up yourself, i.e for new entry to windows platform.

I think reseller would be your best bet if you're interested in selling hosting. There are a few different control panels that you can generally resell: Plesk, Enkompass, and Direct Admin, seem to be the popular ones.

Hi

What is your budget for this??? If you've been hosting linux for a while and you have a good customer database, then offering windows will be a excellent one stop solution for your current customers who also need windows hosting, so good move!

Website Panel, HELM and Plesk are all known windows control panels. Ekompass is new.. but its far from CPanel for windows, its more like a old control panel with a cpanel skin!

If you are planning to run your own windows based asp.net hosting services then give a try with WebsitePanel control panel, completely built on .net framework and is free and stable.

Well with windows hosting you can think of Hsphere too with which you can provide hsphere based clustered windows hosting , which is quite unique and powerful

Windows reseller hosting with WebsitePanel would be the best option for you.
Some windows vps providers offer VPS package configured ready for selling hosting but the cost is much higher than reseller package.
