Hio all.... I've decided to move to a different merchant getway since PaySystems ain't reliable at all. However got a big problem here:

PROBLEMS: I've got about 400 clients in my recurring database, and the thing is I need their credit card info to have them moved to a diff. merchant provider such as 2checkout or etc.

QUESTION: Will PaySystems.com provide me with my clients CC info ? If Not, what's the solution then ?

WORST PART: I cannot go all over my clients and ask them to provide me with their CC info. It's really stupid.

SOLUTION: Please help me and advice me all you gurus there :D

hmm - dont think so :S
you have a few options

- Signup to new gateway and have a fragmented billing system :S :eek2:
- Signup to new gateway and ask your clients to re-signup to the new system.
- Stick it out with the current gateway

If I remember correctly there was a similar thread.... you need to proccess so much cash each month and sign a contract blah blah blah then they will let you have the information. You better contact paysystems instead ;)

Darth,

Do you think you could find that thread? I never saw it. Would make some interesting reading.

You need to process very large amounts until they will agree to it. Additionally, you need to sign special agreements with them and their bank and have several checks done before they release it.

The problem here is that the customers didn't give you their credit card info, they gave it to Paysystems. Technically, in fact, they aren't even your customers -- the financial agreement is between them and Paysystems.

Paysystems can't, and really shouldn't, give that info to you -- even if it is true that under some circumstances based on your volume or whatever they might be able to do so, it could apply only to new orders or sales that took place after that agreement was in place.

Sorry, but I don't see any way out other than to set up with a different provider and start signing up new customers there, and migrating your existing customers off of Paysystems after their current recurring agreement ends -- or contacting them and asking them to make the move earlier. I understanding you're saying you don't want to do it that way, but that's the situation you're in -- the agreement you made with Paysystems.
