I signed up for the resellermatrix.net reseller plan a few days ago ...and already have 6 customers hosted. now i saw all those bad comments about resellermatrix on various boards and it makes me a little worried :bawling: . I'm now thinking about signing up with JaguarPC.com ...what do you guys think? Stay or switch?

Thanks :D

They were banned from this forum for repeated spamming.... I'll leave you to make your own mind up.

When I had an account with them they had billingg problems.

It took me 3 months to get a resold account deleted. Eached time I asked for the account to be deleted, I would get an email saying that it was when it really wasn't. It took a credit card chargeback threat for them to finally get in order and delete the account.

If you stick with them, do not expect them to do much of anything for you unless you mention the word "chargeback" to their billing department. :bawling:

Just out of curiosity, you said you had 6 customers in a few days. Did you do mass advertising or does the place you're reselling for automatically advertise for you a little bit?

I'm also interested about that, 6 customers in only a few days? Customers you've maybe found yourself or customers from coming across your site?

Bail Out while you can... Resellermatrix has the most unfriendly, unhelpful customer support possible. You can sign up to resell through a company like hostingmatters.com.... I have never seen such great, friendly customer support before... SO far, nothing beats hostingmatters.com, and yet you can reseller through them... You see, a whole chain of websites run of a company called alabanza.com.... One of them is resellermatrix.com... Most companies that run off alabanza's services, just offer webhosting plus reseller account options, whereas, resellermatrix is the same thing, but only for resellers. Check out hostingmatters.com, hostingyours.com, linuxwebhost.com... I fyou need more, just contact me... But get out of resellermatrix while you still can... How did you get 6 customers so soon? Let me in on the secret...LOL...

Brett,

You were a customer for only 2 days. You submitted 4 support inquiries; all received a response in no more than 8 hours (3 received a response within an hour or so).

We even received comments from you such as "Thanks you guys are the best!" (I can post the log if you like)

I don't know what your reason for making these claims/attacks is, however we happily invite you to give our service a second try. Perhaps for more than 48 hours?

Sure maybe I got a response but it was at the most 2 words. ("yes")... ("ok")... Im sure now that you pulled this old discussion out of the archives, you will just get knocked more. I know many people out there know of your terrible customer support. You don't answer clients questions, and when you do, you are incredably rude. Furthermore, when I say you guys are the best, i had to due to the fact, anyone who desires support must put up a great effort in kissing your butt, to get any support at all. A client shouldn't have to do that... Especially for the money. That's it, end of conversation!

Your claims are rediculous and are backed by no substance whatsoever. Speaking on the subject of 'rudeness', here is an exact, unedited quote from you (5/3/2001):

Ignore all my 50 other questions, with a little research, I found them all.. However, when It comes time for my clients to upgrade their cp, or buy more space or something like that through their control panel, they go through my forms or yours? Is linuxwebhost a reseller for you? If so, can't I offer the same packages as him? He gives his clients options like $10 a month for your own virtual name server address ns.theirdomain.com etc.. Can I offer these.... ISN"T THERE A RESELLER PAGE I CAN GO TO THAT EXPLAINS ALL OF THE NITTY GRITTY, BESIDES THE FAQ??? CAN YOU GIVE ME THE URL OF SOME OF YOUR RESELLERS SO I CAN GET AN IDEEA??? PLEASE!

[End Quote]

And our response a few hours later (note, it answered some previously asked questions, even though Brett requested that we ignore them):

You can use the Help Desk for upgrades, you should see an "Upgrade" tool in your menu.

Your name servers are included with your Reseller Master account.

Our Reseller's customers are never aware that we are operating in the background. Reseller anonymity is a top priority, this enhances our reseller's image and prospects for success.

Since our Reseller's success is also our success, we do not indentify our Resellers.

[End Quote]

I don't see a single "one-word" response, as you describe, in our correspondance with you. But it's clear to me, that your demeanor was lacking. If you simply didn't understand how to start reselling, we would have been more than willing to help you with understanding the concept. Instead, you seemed to panic for some unknown reason, and corresspondance quickly disintegrated.

Please... THERE IS A LOT MORE TO IT THEN THAT. BUT I DO GIVE YOU PROPS FOR EDITING IT DOWN TO MAKE IT LOOK THAT WAY. BUT I AND A LOT OF OTHERS KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. I HAVE NO NEED TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER.

Again, I can post the full support logs (in reference to you) if you'd like. Directly from the support ticket database (which hasn't been touched since inception in mid-2000, have the mysql logs to prove that as well).

Better yet, perhaps you should simply keep your baseless opinions to yourself.

what is your secret? 6 customers, and you were barely open for business? my god, you're going to be a billionaire in a couple of weeks.

seriously, how did you get 6 customers in 2 days, when your site was only up for 2 days?
