my sites are hosted at dedicatedhosting.com and they are down as well as DH's website. it's not exactly down but so slow that it usually timeout before i reach it. i did a traceroute from various places (from traceroute.org) and get the same results. anyone has more infos about this??? i cannot really email them because my email probably wouldn't reach their server...

damn i hope this will be sorted soon. i'm really sick and tired to change from hosts every few months. i thought it was okay now. if there are real problems, i'll switch to rackspace, even if i have to pay 3 times more.

Why Rackspace? Is not too expensive?
We don't try another with good critics, like site5 or ventureonline?

dedicatedhosting also have a very good reputation... at least rackspace.com has a uptime guarantee and it's managed hosting so if you need help, there's someone. anyway the connection to DH is back, I hope it will be sorted out, those days the connection has been really slow.

are others still experiencing problems with dedicated hosting.com? during the past week, ping is frequently reporting high packet loss (30+%) on connections to my DH server...DH has such a good reputation, but when do i start to worry?

If the traceroute is going through alter.net ... most likely the problem is at alter.net. But who knows ??

Alter.net has been nothing but problem these past few months ..

How long did this outage last?

www.esnipe-east.com right now is on Dedicated Hosting (at least the home page)... and I can get to it right now...
