I'm looking for a windows web hosting package to host a very small and simple personal website. I'm struggling to find anyone who does this for less from about £50 per year.

The only requirement is for ASP/Access database support which is why I'm looking at Windows hosts. Space and monthly bandwidth usage limits are unlikely to be an issue.

Can anyone recommend a provider?

Thanks

Not 100% sure if they allow the access databases, however what about FastHosts

Used them in the past, and for a budget provider they aren't the best around, but still not too bad.

Are you looking for a UK based host, or is that not a requirement?

With your budget and requirement you could find lot hosts here - and even affordable web hosting services. Give search at WHT offers section.

Thanks for all the responses. Ideally I am looking for a UK host, mainly because it makes billing easier if it's in £ and not $.

billing should not be a matter, you would also be charged in local currency. Are you also looking for a site to be hosted on UK server / dc?

It does matter to me, as I'd rather see the prices advertised in local currency. Just makes things a bit easier, that's all. The location of the server doesn't really concern me though.

It does matter to me,.
There's no logical reason for it.
For example, in my case, Visa converts Euros to dollars, because I have a host in Netherlands.

We live in a global economy.

I'd recommend you happy-hosting services because of their resourceful Windows services which cost not much.
This company works fine, I know that because I have used them.

Maybe not, but it's just my preference.

As for me I prefer to use Paypal, the most convenient billing system for me.

Agree, most providers offer paypal as a payment method.
