i am looking for a good alternative to "Streaming Player" mentioned here: masternewmedia.org/video_internet_television/internet-tv-streaming-tv-streamcast-player/create-your-own-streaming-internet-tv-20070430.htm

the main feature i am looking for ist to watch embedded videos and have something like a gallery.
so vlc streaming and similar projects are not usable for my purpose :)

the project above is obviously not longer followed and there are nearly no informations about it.

They've got gallery-like browsing in the player itself.

i want to stream from file.. like example duckload and other video hoster. but in addition to just be able to stream it would be nice to have a powerful gallery to be able to browse my files.
"Dabber" looks good. But the gallery is not very comfortable if you add a lot of files :(
