Ive been open since around October 2002 and have managed to get only 4 customers. We are trying to figure out if were doing something wrong.
Would an 800 # help?
What can we do for help?

Find a niche - something - anything - just find one. Unless you have some serious dollars to start building a big brand that's a good place to start.

Obviously work friends and family as well as your existing 4 customers for referals, etc. Consider paying a finders fee.

The big question is, "Are you getting any traffic?" An 800 number isn't going to help if people aren't coming to your site...

After you answer Matt's question - which is the 1st question to ask yourself. If the answer is yes you are getting traffic but no sales - I think one problem is your site.

This is my opinion & others may have a different opinion - here are some specifics :

- It doesn't look professional, the layout is very disjointed
- You have some plan info to the right but the info is sparse and doesn't have a price
- The home page has no sales copy - it doesn't answer any questions about why a prospect should choose you
- The only info on the home page is a memo telling prospects the site is new & then a large copyright notice (with typos)
- The hosting link opens a very small floating frame with the plan info squashed into a small table
- The order link is a tiny "here" link that is hard to see
- The order page is very basic looking
- The SSL gave an error which alsways scares off buyers

You may want to consider a re-look at your site - open it up, make it bright & keep you home page focused on selling. With a lot of competition it is crucial that the 1st impression is a good one.

Take a look at the type of sites listed on hostskin.com - these are primo designs in my opinion are the type of look you should try to emulate in terms of looking professional. Look at also other host sites and imagine you are buying hosting.

Good luck - I hope my input didi't sound too harsh - like I said it is just my opinion and not necessarily correct.

no offense but I think the first step is to get a site redesign ... it may improve your buyers' confidence and conversion ratios.

Try those template sites ... you should be able to get a reasonably cool template for under $50. ;)

my $0.02 :stickout:
