I have had registered a domain registration account with a reseller from ENOM few months back.

Recently, he offers me a new pricing and the offer is taken up.

But the problem now is, those unclaimed amount in the old account is no longer exist according to him upon transfer to a
new account.

Is that how ENOM transfer policy work? It makes no sense to me why a transfer of account will make you lost your money in the former account. That makes ENOM good profit huh?

Anyone experience this before or have any solution to it?

Yes it does exsist. I bought an account that still had $2.75 in it from the previous owner. The guy had got a new (cheaper) account, so he used up as much of the $$ balance as he could in his old account by buying domains until there was only $2.75 left. Then he pushed all the domains to his new account. Then he sold the old account to me, and I log in and sure enough, there is a $2.75 balance in there. He knew there was a few $ in it before I bought it, and told me so. The money didn't go anywhere, it's still there, but because I bought the account with the money in it, the money is mine now.

My situation is different. The money is in the old account. Which now that I have no access as I have already been trasnfer to the new account by the reseller.

So, the money stuck in the old account, that is the problem.

Anyway to transfer the money over to the new account?

I think that once you take your hand from an account you can not do too much... Just my 2 cents.

Once money is deposited into an account, you can no longer get it out except by spending it on domain names. You cannot transfer balance to another enom account.

If you parent reseller offered you a new pricing, you should ask for the new pricing to be applied to your original account, not creating a new account.

I would suggest that you talk to whoever is in control of your original account, and ask for either 1) old account back, or 2) have him "buy" your existing balance (outside of enom, of course; you cannot transfer balance). In any case however, now that you have lost access to your old account, it would be difficult for you to get it. This will depends a lot on the good will of that person.

And just curious: how much of a $$ difference was from the old account to the new one?

That isn't true.. I have transfered money from one account to a another!!

All you have to do is to send e-mail to eNom and ask for transfer!

Well, of course! Enom has the power to do anything, since they have the database. My point is that you cannot transfer balance across accounts in the system (web site) by yourself. You will need to convince enom to do that for you.

I don't think you need to convince them about this.... here's the response I got from eNom when I asked them if it was possible to move funds between accounts:

Yes, we can move funds between accounts with specific instructions.

MOVING FUNDS BETWEEN RESELLER ACCOUNTS

For verifications purposes, please send an email from the account you are taking funds FROM. Send to: service@enom.com

1. Indicate the LOGIN name you are moving funds from.

2. Specify how much you wish to transfer.

3. Provide the LOGIN name of the account where you wish to add the money.

We'll take care of it and email you back when the transaction is complete.

Great risul!

I still have some hope taking back my 'hard earn' money.
