I trying to figure out how to setup my dns for the new server I have. This is a RH 7.3 Linux box and I want to have the server be able to resolve for sending and receiving emails as we rely on that heavily.

Right now the hostname is set as evom.evolutionm.net. I use ZoneEdit.com for my dns and plan to make those changes only when I have all the work completed on the server end. My resolv.conf looks like this:nameserver 69.10.8.3
nameserver 69.10.8.4
domain evolutionm.net
search evolutionm.netThe nameservers are from AtWebHost (Colo provider).

I think there is a temp dns setup at evolutionm.infinitydns.com and it appears that my server resolves to that as my root email account now receives log watch emails for evolutionm.infinitydns.com... how can I change this to check for evolutionm.net or something else other than the infinitydns.com domain. Since I will be relying on ZoneEdit, I want to have things setup to work with that instead.

Also, I believe I'm using name based hosting, but I would like to have rDNS setup for my server so that there won't be any issues when sending out emails, etc... is this something my provider has to do, or should I do this myself?

Thanks,

Mark
