I'm offering free on-air advertising to any interested web sites/companies out there, with only one string attached: the advertisements cannot be for any web hosts. Any other businesses are welcomed to take up this offer either it be a non-profit or for-profit company/web site. (Web Hosting Directory sites are welcomed)
And no, this is not a late April Fools day joke. It's the real deal.
I'll sum things up in brief-
The commercials will be ran on an online radio show that I'm hosting that will either be 1hr or 2hrs in duration (haven't decided yet) that will be broadcasted on an online news commentary site that focuses on various topics ranging from sports to politics; entertainment to business. I'm in the middle of the pre-launch stages of the site as we speak, we're looking to open the site late this month.
Basically you would have to provide me with the commercial with your own resources, meaning finding someone to record the commercial who either is an actual voice over actor/announcer, or just simply someone with a decent voice that could be used for cutting ads.
It can be anywhere from 30-60 seconds in duration (more if there is a reasonable explanation for more detailed commercials). The format can be in basically all modern audio formats either it be Real Audio/Real Media, WAV, MP3, WMA, CD, CASSETTE, MICROCASSETTE etc. The only issue is that the quality must be decent so you'd want to lean towards having it recorded either in MP3/WAV/WMA or on a CD.
I'm open to running multiple ads just to add variety to things, and you're good to go as far as mentioning just about whatever you choose to either it be specific products, prices, web site addresses, physical locations, phone #s, company history, company mission etc. Either straight vocals will do, or vocals with some type of background music or other Sound FX in the back/foreground will be fine.
The reason I'm offering free commercial time to advertisers is due to the fact that I don't have someone to fill this position full time, and I rarely have time to carry out any administrative duties like finding paid advertisers ... so this is basically on a first come first serve basis, and the commercials will remain in rotation on the show up until the point I'm able to develop a decent amount of paying advertisers. I'd estimate that I'll be able to run the free ads with no problem for atleast 3 months until time free's up.
I would venture a guess of saying you'd have roughly 14-21 days to get things together and get the commercial(s) to me.
Other than all of that, pretty much no strings attached ... one of those "too good to be true offers" that is indeed true.
