I have had a free forum hosting company open for 1 month now. It is growing steadily and we made a tiny profit of $10 our first month.

Starting this week I have had trouble with the ad company that advertises on our site (valuead). The ad javascript has been freezing some of our user's browsers and for the past few days valuead has not been tracking any ad views or clicks, which means we are making no money.

It seems like the time to switch ad companies. The problem is most won't allow free hosts or forums. Does anyone know of a good ad company that would accept a free host that provides forums and offers CPC/CPM ads. Our CTR is around 0.04% and we get 2 million views a month.

Why not just sell advertising yourself? It should be easy to get hosting companies to invest in your site so that when the free host users are ready to upgrade to payed, they'll be there.

Good luck in your search.

I already refer all users to a hosting company.
