Budget is unreasonably low for Windows hosting.

For a Win 2008 VPS calculate at least $25/month.

Hello,

You could check DiscountASP.NET. They offer shared Windows 2008 R2 hosting with ASP.NET 4.0 and have some promotions at the moment.
You could also check in the Find a Host section - http://www.webhostingtalk.com/web-hosting-providers/windows-hosting

Discountasp.net charges extra for Microsoft SQL Server (extra $10/month); otherwise, their 50% off deal is very good. I would have gone with them.

If the OP's website isn't mission criticial and is willing to pay a whole year in advance, I saw some webhosts that would satisfy the $50/year.

I wanted to chime in and say there are a number of reasons why we charge for MS SQL, however I don't want to get on the bad side of the admins for having the post seem like a sales pitch, so please feel free to private message me here and I would be more then happy to go into the details as to why.

what about http://www.mochahost.com/webhosting_windows.php

As always you get what you pay for.

If your website is non-critical and you need hosting with basic features then any cheap hosting package would be ok.

Regarding mochahost, search for their review on WHT.

DiscountASP is very expensive and about your budget, how about if you check www.asphostportal.com. Hope this help..

I don't think it is fair to say we, or any host for that matter, is "very expensive" as that opinion is subjective to the hosting customer. Yes, there hosters that are a few dollars more expensive than a cheap $5/mo host but there are reasons why a host may charge slightly more than a cheap host. There are also reasons why a cheap host can offer super cheap hosting. A hosting customer should learn why a host charges what they do because that communicates a lot about the quality of hosting the company may offer.

Hosting customers should look at the quality of the hosting services in comparison to the price. For example, many hosters host customer web sites, customer SQL databases and customer email all on one server, to save on internal costs. Hosting companies that host customer web sites, customer email, and customer databases on separate servers have invested more in their operations in order to provide a proper hosting environment, as they have to purchase more servers than a host that simply hosts everything on one server.

Another reason why a host may be slightly more expensive is because the host may purchase their own web servers as opposed to simply renting or being a reseller for another host. Purchasing a Dell server is much more expensive than renting a dedicated server from the Planet.

Also, a host that is slightly more expensive may offer more features such as more components, more partnership discounts, etc. So even though the price may be more expensive, the more expensive host may actually provide a better value than a cheap host.

Please also remember, that many "cheap" hosts advertise $5/mo, however, in order to get that monthly price, the customer has to prepay for multiple years. For example, even though the advertised price is $5/mo, a customer may have to prepay approximately $120 for 2 years.

am completely agree with Doug-Dasp but for me i don't care if my services are host on 1 server or multiple
i care only about prices and stability

so if a hoster can guaranty stability and cheap prices i will buy from him even if i discover that he use a reseller.

of corse this for individual and personal sites because i will not spend big amount for personal purposes or for site that receive only 1000 visitor daily

You can find some Linux based hosts in the price range, but I doubt you will find any decent Windows hosts for $50/year. There are quite a few quality Windows hosts for up to $50/month, but not $50/year. Did you mean per month instead of per year?

I was merely responding to the fact that since the OP wanted MS SQL Server that your webhosting company wasn't within his budget. Nothing more than pure math.

As for myself, if I had a mission-critical website, I would certainly consider your company strongly, but for a learning about ASP.NET and about MS SQL Server website, I did not want to be spending $15/month.
