I am about to install SSL, on my http://host.servername.com
But, the above host name is already using a SELF signed SSL.
Now i would like to install a commercial Certificate on the same Host name.

1) Do i need to delete the existing self signed SSL ?
2) Any thing else i need to do to install the commercial SSL ?

It would be better to remove the existing Self signed certificate when installing the new one.

As for the procedure, it would depend on your web server and which, if any, control panel that you are using.

You could check with the company where you purchase your SSL for specific instruction on installing the SSL cert. They usually would have some FAQs or How-To on their site.
