Hello everyone,

I'm planning on starting up a web hosting company. There is one thing that I still don't quite understand and that is:

If someone signs up for web hosting and would like to transfer an existing domain name to my servers (ex: ns1.foobar.com, ns2.foobar.com) then how do I go about initiating the transfer through the Registrar?

Wouldn't it depend on who thier Registrar is? For example, if they are using Network Solutions what do I do? If they are using something like Regsiter.com, what then?

Looking forward to some help here...

just tell them to go into their domain management control panel and change the nameservers to...

ns1.foobar.com
ns2.foobar.com

If they own a domain, they should know what to do with the nameservers
