Is there such a service?
You know, I want to receive an IP, username and password to a MySQL database which is going to be mine, hosted at Europe.

I expect the host to make sure for redundancy, safety of data etc'.
This would be a good solution for me, instead of having to configure everything (and make some mistakes) or hire a person to do it which would cost me too much if I'll get a real expert.

You need only to host one database and nothing else? How big is your database?

@marrtins: I don't know for sure because it's an upcoming project yet I can tell for sure that the total size should not exceed 500MB and the bandwidth.... really have no clue - not too much that's for sure.
It's a database with "information", not images or stuff like that.

I've heard it's called remote mysql database hosting yet didn't thoroughly check it yet.
Do you have any advice?

Why you need host database outside? It would make very poor performance. To me it makes more sense to host database on same server/vps or other server/vps on same network.

It's coming from the "offsite protection" point of view. Nothing too special.
