I am currently looking to start a web hosting business after I have not been all that satisfied with some of the current market. The partner must be knowedgable in the hosting industry and ver well spoken. Meaning you must have a good grasp of the English language and not be illiterate.

The partner must also be ready to put in money as I am. Having a server already is a plus, but it is not required. You must be on a lot to help handle support issues. The partner must be atleast 18 years of age.

If you are interested contact me through the ways below:

May I recommend you don't seek a business partner, rather go at it on your own. Partnerships almost ALWAYS end in tears.

I know partnerships between people that have succeeded through meeting here. I will see what happens.

Not meaning to be rude, but some of us have degrees in business management and we DO know what we're saying. The chances of success of a partnership with someone over the internet who you haven't even met and will probably never meet is very slim. How do you propose to get the business legally registered? Or do you plan to do business illegally?

Start on your own, and outsource work to others. Once you've read up on law regarding employing people and when you're financially able to, then go one step further and hire staff. Chances are next year you'll still be in the industry. The alternative is to be yet another statistic in the long line of failed hosts.

Derek,

Fazel gives you good advice... others did as well.

Just to add to Fazel's words of wisdom:

1- Start small --- Think Big
2- Don't dive off into the hosting business thinking you need to buy (rent) your own server *see #1 above*! No need to put yourself that far in debt (obligation) without a descent client base.
3- Find you a good (no - GREAT!) local attorney and accountant to help you setup your business.
4- Don't expect overnight success and fortunes to happen.
5-Business Plan! Business Plan!
6- Did I mention to have a solid, Business Plan?
7- See number 5 & 6 above.

It's doable, but taking on an internet partner sure decreases your chances. More times than not, it fails miserably...
