View Full Version : Forget Iraq, What about N. Korea?!
AntiSpamHosts 12-30-2002, 05:55 PM According to USA Today...
"The Bush administration sought Sunday to discourage talk of a conflict with North Korea and said it is ready to wait months to see if diplomacy can persuade Pyongyang to abandon its nuclear program."
OK, What is this? Now Bush is ready to be diplomatic? Is it just me, or does it seem a little crazy, we are determined to war with Iraq over weapons of mass destruction that we haven't found yet, but when North Korea comes out and tells us they have WMD (weapons of mass destruction) and are restarting their nuclear programs, we downplay it? Anyone else want to share their opinion?
Techark 12-30-2002, 06:35 PM No oil...
derek.bodner 12-30-2002, 09:37 PM Oh geez, again with the oil bit.
Maybe it's because N. Korea has a huge force and is technilogically advanced, and can't be dealt with as swiftly and decisively? Maybe it's because that situation requires more international cooperation?
TheTech 12-30-2002, 09:40 PM It's a bit obvious how bad of a President Bush really is. Why would you want to keep sending out unproven facts about a country? And to top that, another country tells us they have weapons of mass descruction, and what do we do? We deny the agreement to be not result in becoming enemies. And we continue to harass Iraq and make it look like it's a bad country.
We = The People, The People = The President.
The President was elected to represent us, is he doing it right?
They are next.. not enough men to handle both.. The US has priorities.. first oil.. then nukes.
Techark 12-30-2002, 09:48 PM The fact is they have two nukes that we know off. How to take those out without setting off a nuclear disaster in the region is the problem. We have 67,000 troops in South Korea that could be exposed to a nuke war head.
North Korea will not be an easy target for the US. Then there is China their closest neighbor and friend that makes it all that much more complicated.

Well, we elected him, as you said, so its our fault is he doesnt.
