A new customer has a .co.uk registered through register.com. We've sent him the standard "you need to update DNS to point to your new hosting account" email - including the correct nameservers, etc.

Problem - he says that, when he logs onto his register.com control panel, there is no place to update DNS. There is only a spot to add IPs for his domain name.

Soooooooo...I log into the new customer's register.com domain and, walla, there is NO 'update DNS' link!!!!

Am I missing something?!?!?

Certain domain extension in register.com need to request for DNS changing via a form. Then their staff will do that for you.

I am not sure is .co.uk is included here, but check out the help file there or mail their support staff directly.

if you are registered with register.com you can modify DNS at network solutions - you just need your email, domain name, and new nameserver info

I used register.com's online contact form to request for the DNS changes on my *.uk domains. It takes about 2 business days for them to notify me of the changes.
